Bike Trail Passes
Stop at the library to purchase a daily or annual bike trail pass so that you can get out and explore the Sugar River or Badger State Trails right here in Monticello! Or, use your annual pass to explore trails throughout the state. Daily passes are $5.00 and annual passes are $25.00. Cash or check only, please.
Curbside Pick-up
Your library is still here for you. Monticello Public Library is committed to providing patrons expanded access to online resources and safe access to physical items.
Holds can be picked up Monday-Friday 9am-7pm. Please call the library at 938-4011 to schedule your pickup.
Reserve Our Meeting Room
We offer a small meeting room for public use. Groups using the space may not be partisan political groups and cannot charge admission to their meeting. Reservations can be made online or by calling 608-938-4011. View our full meeting room policy online.
Teacher Requests
We’re happy to find multiple copies of specific titles or various materials within a subject or theme. Complete the following form or contact the library to place your request. Please allow three weeks of lead time to allow for searching and delivery time.
Outer Library Loan
Can’t find an item in our library system? We can try to find it from a library outside of our system! Fill out the outerlibrary loan request form and we'll start trying to track it down for you.
Computers and Internet
Free internet access is available at the Monticello Public Library. Programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Publisher and others are also available for use on library computers. Black and white or color printing are available on all computers. Call ahead to reserve a computer!
*Users must abide by our Computer and Internet Safety Policy to use a computer in the library.
Wireless Internet
Free and fast wireless access is available at the Monticello Public Library. Bring your laptop computer, PDA or other device with a WiFi-compatible network card. Wireless users must agree to abide by the library's Computer and Internet Safety Policy.
Equipment
Copier
Our copier prints black and white or color, enlarges, reduces and makes 2-sided copies. There is no set charge for printing; it is by donation only.
Die Cut Machine
Cut out creative and fun shapes for your scrapbook, bulletin board, or other project with our die cut machine. We have a full set of 4" alphabet letters and other assorted shapes available in the library.
